Jeff Butorac grew up in Rochester, MN, where he was a multi-sport athlete, excelling in both basketball and tennis at the high school level. He continued his education at Saint John’s University. Following graduation, Jeff began building his coaching career. He spent two years as an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire before returning to Saint John’s University as the JV head coach and varsity assistant. From there, he joined Burnsville High School, where he served in multiple roles over four years, including 9th Grade Coach, JV Head Coach, and Varsity Assistant. During the 2013–14 season, Jeff was honored as the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year after stepping in as interim varsity head coach. Jeff’s coaching journey then took him to the collegiate level as an assistant for the women’s basketball program at Southern Arkansas University (NCAA Division II), where he also earned his Master’s Degree in Coaching. After two years at SAU, he returned to his hometown as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Rochester High School. With a passion for teaching, player development, and building community through sports, Jeff brings years of coaching expertise and leadership to his style of coaching.

Although you are registered for a particular instructor, we cannot guarantee that 100% of the time. Often our instructors are called out for clinics, illnesses, vacations, ect. If this does happen, we will replace that instructor with another instructor.
