Jared graduated from Eagan High School in 1995 where he played varsity basketball. He attended Minnesota State-Mankato for 2 years. He transferred to SNU (Bethany, OK) and graduated in 2001. While in Oklahoma he was able to assistant coach under Gary Vick for Athletes First (AAU) team that featured Blake Griffin, Xaiver Henry & Ekpe Udoh for 4 years. He was able to help players develop to all levels of college and pro ranks. Jared has coached 6 total years of AAU basketball in Oklahoma and Minnesota and 6 years in the youth traveling basketball program at Lakeville North for his two boys. Jared is a former ACSM certified personal trainer and former head personal trainer at Bally’s Total Fitness and Lifetime Athletic Clubs. He has spent his last 20 years in Orthopedics profession in the clinic setting and in medical sales.  He will take pride in helping teach the fundamentals of basketball by applying his knowledge from strength/conditioning & years of coaching basketball athletes.
