Shawna graduated from Rush City High School in 2019. She started attending Minnesota School of Basketball when she was in 9th grade and assisted Brian at the 2019 Elk River camp. In high school, she earned All-Conference honors 4 years, All-Section 2 years, All-State honorable mention 1 year, and is Rush City’s leading scorer. Shawna also played in the Border Battle and the Minnesota all-star games as a senior and for North Tartan AAU club for 6 years. She now is attending and playing basketball at Concordia University, St. Paul and is going to be a
sophomore this upcoming fall. There, she is pursuing a degree in elementary education with hopes to be a teacher and coach someday. Shawna is grateful for this opportunity to spread her love for basketball.
